Feedback session

Week 1
In the first week, we had an online briefing about the module, its details, expectations, and assessment. This was conducted by Dr. Noorhayati Saad, Dr. Yip Jinchi, and Mr. Mohd Asrizal Razali. We had to watch a recorded lecture on writing a research dissertation, download notes from My Times/Microsoft Teams, watch a YouTube lecture, and review what we learned in research methodology last semester.

Week 2
We started writing the introduction for our dissertation. Mr. Asrizal will review it next week. We can use notes and materials from last semester’s research methodology to help us write.

Week 3
This week, Mr. Asrizal showed us a Doc Sheet and an online booking system. The Doc Sheet helps us keep track of tasks, and the booking system allows us to schedule meetings with him on Microsoft Teams at our chosen times.

Week 4
This week’s lecture explained how to write the literature review section. It included tips on structure, using charts, finding gaps in research, and discussing motion capture. We were told to choose and review five important research articles to support our problem and research questions.

Week 5
In Week 5, Mr. Asrizal checked my draft and explained more about the literature review requirements. He also showed us examples by reviewing my classmates’ work.

Week 6-9
We focused on consultations during these weeks.

Week 10
This week, we had a lecture on Project 2: visual design for our research dissertation. Mr. Asrizal explained how to start this task and shared basic rules, like layout, typography, outline, navigation, and more. He encouraged us to use Adobe InDesign to work on this project.

Week 11-14
These weeks were focused on consultations.

Project 1/ Research Implementation - Draft Dissertation

Before I started writing my Draft Dissertation, we were asked to complete a literature review. Table below is my final result, or you can access by clicking here.

Then, started writing my draft dissertation, I didn't ask too much section by section at this stage. Mr. Asrizal ask me to learn from senior's work. Look on how they write and the format. And here is my progress > Draft Dissertation.
