Introduction

Task 1 



Brainstorming

At first, I explored various themes like AccuseFive (band), Your Name (movie), Fujifilm (camera), and Cybertruck (car), but none of these held my interest for long. After exploring several of my favorite brands, I decided to focus my assignment on the Fujifilm Camera X Collection. With a rich history, Fujifilm has consistently stayed true to its roots, embracing certain flaws that others may critique and turning them into unique strengths

Color Mood Board


In terms of color combinations, I have retained Fujifilm's most classic colors: #00816D, #FFFFFF, #4A4A4A, #C0C0C0, and #E60012. These colors are among the brand's most iconic, so I aim to preserve the culture that should be passed down while improving the user interface

Main Design Concept

The key concept of the entire design revolves around the silver dial, which plays a crucial role in cameras (mode adjustment). In Fujifilm, this silver dial has always been a classic feature. Despite frequent complaints from users about its drawbacks, Fujifilm has continued to carry on this function and has made it a distinctive feature of its products. Therefore, I want to enable users to switch modes by clicking on the dial, which would trigger a page transition, simulating the operation of a camera
