Week 10: Conceptualization and Storyboarding

  • Challenges: Developing a storyline to implement three different visual effects was more challenging than expected.
  • Observations: After establishing a storyline, creating the storyboard based on the main points became easier.
  • Findings: Viewing other visual effects videos and drawing inspiration from my surroundings significantly helped in conceptualizing the project.

Week 12: Filming

  • Challenges: Filming was anticipated to be more difficult compared to previous projects due to the technical requirements.
  • Observations: The process took longer than expected, but investing in a camera stand proved invaluable for maintaining stability throughout filming.
  • Findings: The storyboard served as a useful reference for camera adjustments and overall shooting direction.

Week 13: Editing

  • Challenges: Editing presented difficulties, particularly because I had no prior experience with visual effects editing.
  • Observations: Basic tasks like cutting and color adjustments were straightforward and completed quickly. However, learning to implement visual effects took considerable time.
  • Findings: Watching tutorial videos on YouTube was instrumental in guiding me through the visual effects editing process.
