REFLECTIONS
Experience
Having completed the digital photography module, I found that the
experience gained there was incredibly helpful throughout this course.
The editing process for all assignments and tasks came easily to me;
however, I found the filming process to be more challenging. The initial
tasks and exercises were instrumental in teaching me how to film videos
with proper techniques and useful tips. My basic knowledge and
experience with Adobe Premiere Pro enabled me to complete most tasks
without major issues. On the other hand, Adobe Audition was a new
application for me, leading to some difficulties and mistakes along the
way.
Observations
Overall, this module provided a wealth of valuable experiences and
memories, especially since it was the only one that included group work.
I had the opportunity to collaborate with classmates and friends, making
the learning process enjoyable. Most of the assignments involved using
familiar applications, so the workload wasn't too difficult. However,
there were moments of frustration, particularly with Adobe Audition,
which I had no prior experience with. The only times I felt truly
annoyed were when issues arose during the exporting process, as these
could potentially have cost me a lot of time if I had needed to redo the
work.
Findings
Throughout the module, I frequently turned to Google, lecturer notes,
and asked others for help whenever I encountered issues during the
editing or filming process. YouTube proved to be an invaluable resource,
with countless videos from experienced users and professionals offering
guides and references.a
